Sophie Morton

Actress, Performer & Teacher.

Sophie's journey in performing started at a young age when she began dancing at the age of two, taking weekly lessons in Ballet and Tap. Her passion was evident early on, and at the age of nine, she starred in the UK tour of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang for three months, which ignited her love for musical theatre. She went on to perform in other productions such as Whistle Down The Wind, Joseph & The Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Abbamania.

Sophie's passion for performance led her to seek further training, and at the age of 14, she successfully auditioned for a place at West End Masterclass in London. There, she received intense training in dancing, singing, and acting from renowned West End stars such as Michael Xavier, Kerry Ellis, and Ramin Karimloo. She also pursued her dance teacher training and became fully qualified to teach ISTD Modern Grades up to Grade 5.

In 2015, Sophie was awarded a scholarship (DADA) to study at the prestigious Hammond School of Performing Arts in Chester, where she pursued her musical theatre training for three years and graduated with a Level 6 Diploma in Musical Theatre.

After graduating from Hammond in 2018, Sophie worked professionally as a vocalist and fitness instructor for various companies, including Brittany Ferries, TUI Gold, and The Stage & Production House. She is currently represented by MLI Talent for her performance work.

In 2021, Sophie expanded her horizons and pursued her passion for TV acting, working as a featured extra and body double for popular companies such as Netflix, ITV, Sky, Apple TV, and Amazon Prime. She has had the opportunity to be a part of some exciting projects, including Downton Abbey - A New Era, Enola Holmes, Agatha Raisin, Endeavour, and Lady Chatterley's Lover.

Sophie's devotion to performing, teaching, and her loved ones is evident in her drive, kindness, and versatility. She believes in putting herself out there and being true to herself, eager to show the world what she has to offer in the performing arts industry.
